With nearly four decades of experience in the industry, Atlas Auto Services owner Andy Parker is one of the most knowledgeable motor engineers around.
Originally trained by BMW, he set up Atlas Auto Services in York back in the year 2000, and has seen his business go from strength to strength. With a small team of three, Atlas has succeeded by understanding exactly what its customers want, and doing it so well they wouldn’t wish to go anywhere else.
“Although based in York, we’ve got clients from as far away as Scotland,” Andy said. “They stick with us because they trust us to do the best possible job at the most reasonable price. We’re incredibly good at what we do and we make sure our customer service is always second to none.”

“The computers don’t do all the work though – you must have the ability to interpret the data and evaluate the most appropriate course of action. We’ve worked on BMWs for many years and can use this know-how coupled with our understanding of the technology to rectify any faults and give you the best value-for-money outcome.”
Despite the garage’s popularity, you won’t be waiting weeks to be seen. “We can often fit you in within a couple of days, even with bigger jobs you won’t be waiting more than a week for an appointment,” Andy explained.
“We’ve worked with BMWs for such a long time that we can often tell what’s wrong just from asking a few questions over the phone. Once the vehicle is in our workshop in York we can assess it very quickly, then give you a professional opinion on the available options and their costings.”
